This was an early phase when the game was originally designed for a mobile port. Consequently, I created a responsive UI that tracked the players' touch inputs.
Additionally, in this video, you will notice that when a player picks up an item, it displays above their head until they use it.
what's this?
This represents a more updated iteration of the prototype, transitioning towards a PC/console version. Consequently, I incorporated a crosshair that responds to mouse/controller input. Additionally, an ammo counter was introduced in the bottom right corner, which dynamically adjusts based on the player's remaining ammunition. Lastly, a straightforward animation was implemented at the bottom of the character to indicate their reload time.
