Paint by Monsters was a game prototype we collaborated on at Stellar Boar Productions with Perfect Minute Games. My role in the development primarily focused on ensuring the movement of the characters was functional and synchronized with the pre-existing animations.

In this video, I demonstrate the Pit Trap mechanic, which allows any character in the game to step on a tile, fall into it, and move behind the floor that was previously in front of it.

By skillfully combining layers and masking techniques, I successfully achieved the desired effect for every character in the game.

In this video, you can observe the initial phases of development. This occurred after I integrated the animations of the Blemmyes character into the game, implementing the ability for them to turn and change animations to correspond with their movement direction.
