Mushkin Dance was a game we developed at Stellar Boar Productions, where I took on the responsibility of developing the gameplay mechanics and bringing them together into a playable mobile application.

This video demonstrates the updated method we employed to track the beats' positions. Instead of relying on physical hitboxes, we utilized an invisible timer that measured the time intervals between the beats. This approach allowed us to accurately determine whether the player hit or missed the target.

In this video, you can see the previous method we used to track the beats. They would follow a specific path and pass through hitboxes. The rating you received when hitting a beat was determined by which hitbox it overlapped with.
